Shockwave Therapy

Dr. May is pleased to offer shockwave therapy at Illinois Foot & Ankle Center. If you are suffering from chronic foot, heel, or ankle pain and are looking for relief without injections or even surgery, shockwave, or radial pulse therapy, may be for you. A treatment course typically consists of 5 treatments, each about a week apart, and each requiring only about 15 minutes. It is completely non-invasive, and most patients will notice a reduction in their pain after each treatment. Shockwave therapy is not covered by insurance plans at this time. The cost is $500 for the entire treatment course, which includes up to 6 treatments. All major credit cards are accepted and Care Credit is available.
