Kelly N. May, DPM, FACFAS

Dr. Kelly May was born and raised in Frankfort, Illinois where she attended Lincoln-Way East High School. Upon completion of undergraduate and doctoral degrees, Dr. May completed a comprehensive 3-year surgical residency in Erie, PA. During her residency, she was trained to perform both forefoot and rearfoot reconstructive surgery. This encompasses surgical correction of bunions and hammertoes all the way to ankle joint fusions and Achilles tendon repairs. She has extensive knowledge and experience in diabetic foot care and wound care.
In her free time, Dr. May enjoys spending time with her husband and their two sons and daughter. She also has three dogs and two cats; she loves her “fur babies”. Dr. May and her family enjoy anything outdoors, including swimming, camping and hiking. She is particularly interested in visiting National Parks, and has been to over 30 of them!

Sara Gulczynski, DPM, AACFAS
Dr. Sara Gulczyski, pronounced gul-chin-ski, was born and raised in Homer Glen, Illinois. She attended Lockport Township High School. Dr. Gulczynski completed her undergraduate at Elmhurst College (now university), and her graduate degree at Rosalind Franklin where she graduated with honors. She completed her 3 year comprehensive foot and ankle surgical residency at the Jesse Brown VA in Chicago, IL where she served as chief resident in her final year of residency.
During her residency, she was trained in clinical and surgical practices. She’s performed many rearfoot and forefoot surgeries from hammer toes, bunions, to ankle fractures, and Achilles repairs. She also has extensive training in wound care and limb salvage.
In her free time, Dr. Gulczynski enjoys spending time with her husband and their two Yorkies. She enjoys being an aunt to her several nieces and nephews. Dr. Gulczynski has lived in Frankfort the past three years while completing her residency. She likes visiting the farmer’s market, local festivals, and enjoys the many amenities the surrounding communities offer.
